A Life Saver: My highlighted CTMH Product item of the week.

When you think about a scrapbooking "life saver" it probably isn't a little round roll of colorful candy.  For me it is a square and kinda gummy looking item.
If you haven't already purchased a "Rub & Remove"  eraser- "Shame on you"!  And if you haven't heard me talk about - "Shame on me"!
For a mere $2.95 plus s/h item #Z2107 can save your life or least your temper.  Ever gotten tombow adhesive on a card or layout where you didn't want it or plan it?  Had to take up something you just stuck down and move it over just a little and the glue still showed?  This handy little item will 99% of the time help you remove it all and quickly.  No fuss, no muss, and importantly no show.
Go to my website and order it.  Check out some of the other great papers & tools while you are there.  Shopping from my website is so easy 24/7.
Got a long list, contact me and let's have a gathering and plus you can get Free product.

Don't forget much of what is in the Fall/Winter Idea Book will be retiring on December 31st.  Start now to order your wishlist before what you want is gone.      Still don't have the new Fall/Winter Idea Book contact me.  We can fix that in a flash!

SOTM Blog Hop
Welcome to the August 2009 Blog Hop and "thanks" for stopping by. There are 60+ of us this month sharing our love of stamping, scrapbooking and Close To My Heart products.
If you came here from Jamia's blog you are on the right path.I do want to apologize for the 'chingy' pictures this month, my poor camera is just about on its' last click.
This months CTMH stamp of the month is "It's Your Day" - D1352. There are 25 individual stamps in this set. This a very versatile stamp set for birthday and anniversary cards, invitations of all descriptions, package tags and not to mention awesome scrapbook embellishments. The retail price is $22.95, but wait...contact me and let me tell you how to get it for FREE or at discount price.

This month I chose a tri-fold card base using our wonderful CTMH white core cardstock in the color of Juniper. It is a 4.25 x 5.5 A2 size card and fits well in an A2 envelope. There actually five panels to use in this card, but I chose to adhere the first 2 to cover my brad backs. You could also use the entire back of the card for five additional panels if you liked. Please contact me if you have any questions about making this card.

Techniques used in this card were watermarking, dry embossing, edge inking and heat embossing and sanding.

Cardstock colors used were Juniper, White Daisy and Colonial White. Inks used were Juniper, Sorbet and Versamark

Other products and tools used were paper from the Perfect Day paper pack, White Daisy embossing powder and grosgrain 3/8" ribbon, clear sparkles, 3-d foam tape, Tombow adheasive, Sorbet mini brads, sanding block and piercing tool and heat gun.

The front and back edges of the card were watermarked. Each layer of the cake was heat embossed and attached with foam strips. The "happy" was adhered with brads and the "birthday" was attached with foam strips also. There is lots of dimensions to this card.
The stripes on this panel were done with dry embossing as well as the belly band that holds the card together and then sanded with sanding block.

Please visit my website annebeck.myctmh.com or email me at annebeck@myctmh.com 24/7 if there is any way I can help you, or you just to chat or comment on my blog. Thanks again for joining our August Blog Hop. Come back often. Anne

SOTM Blog Hop
Welcome to the 3rd Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.
We are featuring the Close To My Heart SOTM for July, # D 1351 You've Got Flair. This set has 6 large stamps and retails for $22.95. You could have it for free or at a discounted price. Contact me to see how.
This month I have chosen to use a black, white and silver color scheme on our wonderful white core card stock. The basic card is 5.5" x 8". Layer one is also white cs with black inked edges. The second layer is the wonderful grey side of our black textured cs with black inked edges.

The medallions are stamped on basic black cs, with silver embossing powder. White daisy organdy ribbon adorns the basic medallion at the top of the card along with various sizes of our clear sparkles. The bottom hand cut medallion is layered in 3 offset and distinctly individual layers.

Unfortunately, showing the layers to their best advantage is hard. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me here, or at My Website :
If you have arrived here from Reba's blog you are on the right path.
Are you ready to hop? Go to Shannon's blog next.
If you get lost anywhere along the way, you can always go back to the beginning and start over at: Jena's blog . Just want to take a second to tell Jena "Thank You" for all the hard work she puts into this hop every month. If you enjoy doing this, why not take a moment to tell her "Thanks" too when you visit her blog.

Remember the July SOTM is available through July 31st. My website again is: http://annebeck.myctmh.com/ or Click Here.
